Laptop monitor repair for HP xf335

I’m trying to repair an hp xf335 laptop monitor. When i turn the computer on, the screen is pure white. I hooked the laptop up to a monitor and all of the components work fine (no problems with boot up, access to hdd, software, etc). Basically the computer will work with no problem if placed on a docking station. I disassembled the monitor to see if the cables were connected. They were. For good measure, I detached then reattached the cables. Still no picture. The backlight works fine. Any suggestions as to what I can do? I googled for some answers, but no one really has one.
