Laptops Hang on shutdown

I support a sales staff that just recieved new IBM Think pads. I have a wokspace that is setup with a docking station so they can log on to the network and or print. These laptops seem to hang on shutdown and it happens mostly must not all the time on the docking station. I setup one laptop then used a Ghost image to do the others
