Lead Me up The Righteous PATH

Hi, I know that i know this but,,,,,i am tired now.
OK i have a “folderA” which contains “folderB” and a “shortcut”.

FolderB has an HTML based picture gallery with thumbnails and an index.html etc. the shortcut in folderA is to the index.html in “folderB”. It all works fine.

Repeat it all works fine until i burn to CD. the shortcut now points to the wrong path. I understand why it is wrong but please tell me how to make it work when on a CD. i want the root of the CD to show f”olderAand the shortcut” just to keep things simple.

I am guessing that in the shortcut icon properties, i enter some kind of generic path (\\folderA\index.html). Help Please
