Lexar JumpDrive error in Windows ME

I have a Lexar JumpDrive 128MB. It worked fine with Windows ME on my Sony Vaio laptop. Then one day it stopped due to the following error: “Windows stopped responding while attempt to start this device, and therefore will never attempt to start this device again (Code 11.)” “For more information, look up ASD in in Windows Help.”

I have yet to find anything about “ASD” and there are no drivers to update. The Jumpdrive works fine in my other XP systems. A different JumpDrive also works fine on the laptop.
