LG USB Flash Drive Problem

I have an LG 1GB USB Flash Drive, which has worked flawlessly for the last year or so. All of a sudden, just recently, it always takes two tries for it to mount. In other words, when it’s inserted the first time it doesn’t mount, but remove it and insert it again, it mounts! I’ve reformatted it, but it didn’t help. I’ve also tried it on two other computers, and it’s the same thing
