Liteon40122 problem – again

The problem seems to be that Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum won’t recognise the LXR 40122 as a CD writer, only as a CD rom reader. W2K device manager on my desktop reports no problems with device LXR 40122.

I have upgraded to USB 2.0 (pci card)and also installed latest ASPI layer for W2K.

The error reported “Bad medium – error reading CD information” comes when I try to write to it from my desktop.

The LXR functions OK for reading data and playing music.

The LXR works fine but slowly on an old Toshiba 480 CDT laptop with USB 2.0 pcmcia card.
