locked out of domain controllers

by joe donahue . Updated 23 years, 3 months ago

I am in charge of a W2k advanced Server network with 3 servers at the college I work for.
Last week I had to shut down each server one at a time in order to plug them into our new generator backed outlets. I shut down the PDC first, then rebootedit and as it was coming back up, I shut down the next server and the same for the next.
Well, I just let them boot back up and stay at the Log-in screen deciding not to log on to any of them at that time. After over a week and a half I needed to log on to the server that we use as a print server with the Administrator account that I always use and was shocked to get the following message: “LOCAL POLICY ON THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO LOG ON LOCALLY” Then I tried to log onto the PDC and the 3rd server, SAME MESSAGE. Now, I am locked out of my servers and don’t have any idea why, I never made any changes to any policies.
PLEASE, CAN SOMEONE HELP. IF YOU THINK YOU MAY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE PLEASE SHARE IT WITH ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, I NEED TO GET THIS PROBLEM SOLVED BEFORE CLASS STARTS NEXT WEEK.
