Log in scripts

i have been having problems setting log in scripts in a Windows 2k network.

we a DC on all our sites, the netlogon seems to synchronize well across the servers (all w2k running in native mode).
users are not just getting the log on scripts.

can anyone recommend some reading material on how to set up log on scripts in W2k native mode environment, i think i must be missing step.
