Logical Disk Administration hangs

by maceman . Updated 24 years, 2 months ago

I have a Windows 2000 server that has (2) SCSI 18.2G drives mirrored. The server starting running slowly all of a sudden. I believe it is because the Logical Disk Administration service keeps hanging on startup. After rebooting, I check the services and it says starting. I have tried coming up in safe mode the same thing happens. Some how this service got set to automatic and I think it should be manual but I can’t set it because it is hung. I have checked the drives through the controller utilities and they came back O.K. Does anyone have any suggestions?
