Login scripts and home folders

I have a login script that will not map the home directory on a 98 machine. I used the following syntax

h: \\server\users\%username%

Does anyone have an idea why this won’t work?
I can get the drive to map from the 98 machine, but not in thelogin script. Thanks in advance.
