Logon problem in Windows 2000

I am trying to share my folder on windows 2000 cluster server and i want to give my user on PDC server which is Windows NT4.0 server the rights on these share folder but when i try to locate my domain it says cannot find domain but the interesting thing is that it logs on to the domain .
