Logon Script Works with 2K but no 98

We are trying to move from a novell network to a win2k network. One of the issues we are having is with the logon script. I set up a logon script on the Domain controller (a windows 2000 server). When I logon with a windows 2000 client machine the script works and maps the drives, however when I logon with a Windows 98 Machine the script doesn’t run. Any Ideas?
