logon to nt dom without computer account

I want to be able to use the services of an nt domain from windows 2000 professional by logging with a local account.
So i right click my computer,click properties and goes to the network identification wizard everything eorked ok until it could not find an account for the computer in my domain knowing that i don’t wanna create an account for computers on my domain (because the computer is on a workgroup and i need to login to the nt server to use some ressources on that server).
i can’t findout what to put in the computer account domain:
can i put the local domain?
And if i can put the local domain how to get the 2000 professional domain.
