Logon.bat will not run on Login

Win2000 server running DHCP and DNS.
The workstations receive an ip and from the command line I can run net use x: \\server\shared
But the logon.bat does not run even that simple statement.

The logon.bat is located in the Scripts subdir.

I’mBaffled!
