Looking for the ideal printer

I need a laser printer ASAP, but not just any printer, I’m trying to find the ideal one. Of course I could just go an HP, but who knows, perhaps somebody out there had a better experience with a specific model or a different vendor. What I’m looking for is a printer that is long lasting, can handle heavy loads, and is inexpensive. Color printing is preferred, but not required. I know I’m probably asking for too much, but I’m sure the TR community can come up with something.
