Losing dial up connection when printing

I have a PC running Win NT. The issue we are having is when any dial up connection is being utilized and the user tries to print it will kick off our dial up connection. We are dialing in on a US Robotics 56K modem and printing to a HP 2100 printer. Any suggestions as to what may be causing this?
