LPT2 Devices

I added a second parallel port to my system,
it’s an SIIG card.
The problem is that under Win2000 or Win NT
I’am unable to see my HP 5300 scanner or a parallel port hard drive (simple tech Simple Drive),using this LPT2, no problems with the printer. No problems using these devices on LPT1.These devices both work fine on LPT1 or LPT2 under Win ME and Win98.
Any help will be appriciated.
