LSASS.EXE ERROR

I have a laptop with OPS winXP home edition.
After a microsoft game was installed ,it would attempt to boot then shut down. tried last known good, safe mode options.error message that comes up is lsass.exe error when trying to update password. This return indicates that the value provided as the current password is not valid.

any ideas will be appreciated
