Mac OS X on Windows 2000 Domain

Recently I got a new Mac PC. Can anyone tell me how to configure MAC OS X for windows 2000 domain, so that I can see shares (machines on the network) from both the machines (MAC as well Windows workstations).

It will be good if anyone can give mestep by step instructions or any link for that, I am new to MAC OS.

I have Windows 2k Domain and Mac OS X on Mac Pc.
