Hello
I am in the process of working on a Apple Mac Pro as in the fully loaded version of Intel Xeon.
The issue is this. If booting it always reverts to first time setup, you choose keyboard, region ,internet connection, then it hangs forever attempting to configure for network. If I choose not connected to network it hangs there as well. Attempting to boot from dvd media with C presed at boot doesn’t work. I have tried three different dvd rom drives.. none seem to work well at all. I did get Intel based install media that is working because it loaded up on this Intel XP machine I am on now. I checked both 500 gb sata drives, found no apparent or obvious errors, it has an OS loaded on it from what I can see ,complete with directories. I thought maybe resetting the EFI or bios, whatever you want to call it, would maybe clear up the issue, but apparently the key combo I have as supposed to work doesn’t do a thing. That combo was command-option-P-R. Nothing happened at all except to go right back into setup which stalls.I have come to a loss as to what might be the issue. I can’t even check memory as I have no other machine that accepts this type of memory.Any idea on what I might be doing wrong? Thanks
