Mac Security after replaced hard drive

My Macbook harddrive crashed recently with the “click of death” so I got it replaced. When I got my computer back, there was no log on needed. But now I have to install my printer and I need a password to do so and my old password doesn’t work. What do I do? How do I get the security back?
