Managing the print from UNIX

My company is moving a number of legacy systems over to our Sun and Aix environments, along with the reports. We print to a Xerox DP390. How do I manage the print queues so my priority jobs come out first, ahead of the programmers test jobs? I am new to UNIX. I am an ex-MVS System Programmer.
