I have a winnt4.0 platform.I’m trying to setup a mandatory profile for win95&98 machines. The way I understand it .Is that I have to 1st setup a profile on the win98 machine. Copy it over to the server and rename the user.dat file to user.man. I’m also using the system policy editor to hide the desktop icons..And I put a couple of programs in the quick launch(taskbar). So they get no icons and just icons in the quick launch.. My problem is that when I copy over the profile I get outlookand internet icons on the quick launch even though I did not put them there. I tried deleting from the profile(outlook express and internet folders) but they still show up(is it because of the user.dat file)..Even when I uninstalled the internet (w/a third party software) It still showed up.. Can anybody tell me what I’m doing wrong…Thanks in advance
