Map Z Drive in Login Script

Ok–I know that NT uses the Z drive temporarily for the netlogon share when it’s connecting to the server so you can’t map Z in a login script. Has anyone come up with a clever way to get around this problem? I have 100 computers with tons of thingspointing to Z (prior network admin chose this drive) and couldn’t possibly change the drive letter. The only solution I can come up with is to put a batch file on each PC–I just hate to do that–Goes against all my “networking” principles.
