mapped network drive shows disconected

Hi
I have mapped a drive R: to a share on a NAS box which shows connected and displays its contents. I then go into my Tapeware backup software to back certain files from the R drive but whenyou select R from the backup software, you cant see the contents and R: shows disconnected in windows although its contents are visible….any ideas????
