I have a computer 8 months old and I bought it as a “State of the Art” machine rather than a refurbished machine. I almost wish I had purchased a refurb instead. XP Pro was installed on day 1. I then “upgraded” to XP Media Center 2005. From the day I installed it, the video and audio signals have been freezing after 25 minutes of use. I have changed the motherboard, video card, tv card, ram, reinstalled a different issue of media center, and purchased other anscillary software. I have given up and I am to the point where I will even try to install Vista and see how that works. If that occurs, I will purchase a new hard drive and install it to the clean drive.
I have put 100’s of hours into resolving this problem… Help, the stuttering is driving me crazy.
