I have a 750 Duron on a Gigabyte GA-7ZX-1 motherbd and 256 mb of 133SDram. Ever since I changed my chip and mb to the above I have had bad problems with instability sometimes to the extent that I need to physically turn off the computer to get any reponse. SiSoft Sandra freezes computer and it needs to be physically turned off when checking mainbd. Fix-It Utilities shows minor probs. with graphic card (3DForce F32)and only able to read 84 – 87% memory. However changing and rotating memory sticks does not reduce instability. Am constantly rebuilding and no longer able to run dual boot sys with Win2k. Any suggestions? Am thinking of changing motherboard. Does that sound hopeful? Are FSB 266Mhz mbs backward compatible to CPU’s running with 133 FSB?
