Media Center PC question

by bminich . Updated 18 years, 7 months ago

Hello,

I just moved my old PC with an FX5500 video card to my living room to be used as a media center PC. I ran S-video from the graphics card to the TV (Sony Wega Trinitron 27″) and I get a dispaly, but it is quite blurry. The only res options are 800×600 and the one lower than that. Available color quality settings are 32 and 16. Tried a bunch of different options, played with the contrast on the tube itself (and many other twaeks on the tv as well) and still getting a pretty blurry picture. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to sharpen up the picture so that I am able to read the text (mostly want to be able to read folder names for my music)?

Thanks!
