Memory Dump

My NT 4.0 SP5 Compaq Proliant 5000 server is crashing intermittantly. I’ve nearly gotten to the point where I’ve ruled out hardware issues. I need info on the memory dump. What type of info does it contain? Can it be decieferred (sic)? And by whom? Does it overwrite the previous memory dump after each crash? Is there useful info contained in it?
