memory usage

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good utility that can detects application running in the background. I’m have a P3 700, 128 meg Ram with Windows 2000 pro installed and on average the system is running a maximum memory with about 2 to 10 percent CPU usage. This is pretty high considering I don’t have any application running. Any information would help. Thanks.

By the way, my paging file size is 192 Meg.
