Methods of preventing software copying

i would like to know different methods of preventing software from unauthorized copying, installation and/or usage.
i wrote one software for which i dont want
any of their user to make copy of it,or
install it without my permission or using
that without any authentication.
maily i need some methods regarding this. and their technical description would
do lot.
kindly any who have this type of stuff in their mind reply me for help.
