Micropolis SCSI drive problems

I have obtained two Micropolis 3391WD SCSI drives, which regardless of how I configure the ID’s (using the jumpers) cannot detect using an Adaptec AIC7895 controller (on the MSI motherboard). The controller works fine with other SCSI drives that I have (IBM 18Gb).

Anybody out there with any experience of these drives?
