Microsoft Access

In the past day or so, i’ve developed what appears to be activeX problems on my laptop. I can no longer import files into Access databases and any databases that i’ve created with linked files will no longer work. It tells me there is a activex component that is not working. I’ve uninstalled office2k & reinstalled to no avail. Any suggestions.
