Microsoft Network Client-Windows 95

When I configure the Microsoft Network Client for Windows 95 it disappears after I logon. When I go into the Network configurations the only tap that exist is the configuration tab. The NIC card and TCP/IP is there but there is no client. I reinstall the client again and once I log on, it goes away. Help!!!!!!!
