Microsoft Older Programs in Windows 7 Ultimate.

by scanlpr . Updated 14 years, 9 months ago

I found out that the main problem in Windows 7 is that MS changed all the extension files that were in existence in DOS. That made most of my programs that used the .doc .wks and the others fully inoperative. Some of the files were converted, however, it has become nearly impossible or takes great length of time to run them.

What I am doing now is running a dual interal hardrive system with Windows 7 on one and XP SP2 on the other. So far all is going well, but will take some time to bring it up to where I was on the old nolonger in existance PC failed.

Is there any way , temporarily, I could create new spreadsheets and Word files on Widows 7?
Nice to a member of a fine Community.
