Migration to Windows 2000

I looking to migrate the contents of an NT 4.0 PDC, to a brand new, more robust Windows 2000 DC.
This box currently houses Exchange server 5.5 on it as well which will also be upgraded to Exchange 2000, any words of advice would be appreciated.
