missing dll’s

My pc crashed and I am having a problem reloading my programs and having a user friendly window. the message I get says that several dll’s are missing and also a vxd. Can someone tell me how to get this pc straightened out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but nothing changes. Thank you,
