Missing File Needed for reboot

Need to find out how I can restore my computer with out sitting through another horrible 1-800 phone call. Problem consist of the computer crashing and then when going to reboot an Emachine T1100 with its cd’s, through the first one it stops and says that it is missing a file ghosterr.txt and doesnt complete. Tryed many ways but all failed. Can I get another set off the internet or is there a way to make a cd off my laptop and cary it over to the desktop. Please Help
