A Windows 2000 Small Business Server is giving licensing errors even though the licenses are correct and current. The fix found in the MS Knowledge Base suggested that the entries in the registry were not in agreement to the number of licenses. Any attempts to change the entries prompted a message that tampering with the license entries in the registry was a violation of the user agreement. Shortly thereafter, the system gave the blue screen of death and began a dump of the physical memory.Upon rebooting, the problem with the licenses is not fixed, and the icon in the Admin Tools that leads to the Active Directory Uers and Computers is gone, replaced by a generic windows icon, the dog-eared piece of paper with the Windows logo on it.The icon leads nowhere, and the properties are gone and greyed out. Now I cannot edit user profiles or anything else in the Active Directory Users and Computers. HELP!!!
