Hi! I have got broadband connection with external modem attached to LAN. About two days ago it started giving errors and interrupts in between. It is happening about 20 minutes after connecting. The most common error is: There was hardware failure in the modem (or other connective device)
Other errors sometimes occur when u try to connect. These errors are: Error 31 A device attached to the system in not working and
error734: PPP link control was terminated.
Unable to resolve this. I tried making new connection through connection wizard.
I am using windows xp sp2.
One more thing i have another window xp, sp1 also in another drive. My sister used internet through same connection and modem for 45 minutes and there was no error in that window.
