HI,
Been having a weird problem lately: If my computer is shut down for any length of time, when I turn it back on again , the monitor will show weird patterning… sometimes just vertical lines.. but this last time, the entire screen was covered with horizontal and vertical lines ( looked like a piece of woven fabric ) … After the computer has been on for a few minutes, the lines start to disappear , leaving a blank screen… then after another minute or so , I can see faint light flashing at the bottom corners of the monitor… and then suddenly the display will come on like there was not a problem …
If I reboot , this doesnt happen.. OnLy if the computer is completely shut down ..
I have a Dell 4600 and a KDS flat screen monitor…
Any ideas on what to check out would be greatly appreciated.
