Move 5.5 to new server-hardware upgrade

Moving Exch 5.5 to new server(just hw upgrade)Same Org, same Site. I installed Exch 5.5sp4 on the new server and moved some mailboxes to new server. I rehomed the PF for new server. Do I need to migrate PF data? Do I need to import Directory to new server or will this info allready by on the new server. I eventually want to remove the original server from the network. What is the best plan of attack here. Thanks
