Move XP boot partition to another drive but cannot log on

I have cloned an XP bootable partition from one drive (drive 0) to another drive (drive 2) on the same machine and then removed the original drive. I set up the BIOS to boot from drive 2.

XP starts OK but I cannot log on to the machine. When I try to log on as any user (administrator included) it loggs me off and sends me back to the logon prompt.

Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong?
