Moving home directories to a new server

I’m trying to move home directories from one Win2k box to another. Apparently, the permissions are not replicating down through the subdirectories and files in each home directory. When trying to perform an xcopy, it gets as far as the Application Data folder and I get “Access Denied”. The permissions on each home directory are the user and domain admin with full control. I need to move 300+ user directories. Help! Thanks.
