Moving Shared Directories & Permissions

I need to move user home directories from server to server. I want to see if there is a way to move all the directories, their shares, and all associated permissions, without having to recreate the shares and assign both share and NTFS permissions. I am pretty sure you can move the directories and permissions with xcopy, but am not sure about the shares. Any help?
