MP3 Player Won’t Install

My Sony Network Walkman MP3 Player I have to store music on from my computer, won’t install on my computer when I plug it in and check the device driver a yellow mark is beside the driver and when I check the driver it say’s “THE DRIVER FOR THIS DEVICE ARE NOT INSTALLED (CODE 28) also AN ERROR OCCUREED A SERVICE INSTALLATION SECTION IN THIS INF IS INVALID”.
I contacted SOny but they said that something on my computer is stoping it from installing. I installed the software that came with the player to download music and that works fine I just can’t get the music onto the MP3 player.

256 MB of Ram
