MS ACCESS 97

I have a access program setup to hyperlink to various software. When I click the hyperlink the following error msg appears: “The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would creae duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.” How do I correct this…
