MS Access 97 is not working

My operating system is Windows ME and I have Office 97 and Office 2000 on my system
the problem is Access 97 is not working
it is giving me an error like you don’t have a licennce on this machine to work in MS Access but I can work on Access2000
You may think then why are you going to use Access 97, one of our old access program will not work on the new version.
