MS Visual Installer vs othr install tool

What is a good intaller package that picks up dependencies from third party tools? My environment is Windows 2000, VB 6.0, SQL server, Com +. I am using Sheridan (Infragistics) active x tools. When using MS Visual Installer, Some dependencies are being left out. What is the best install tool to use? Any drawbacks?
