msblast virus

ive been caught out on my home computer and been infected with this virus.ive downloaded the patch from microsoft and applied it, also downloaded the removal tool and checked and deleted all links to msblast from files on my comp. i run windows xp home addition and after it kept going into system shutdown for everytime i started my internet i eventually reinstalled windows over it to no avail.now the problem: i cant access my ISP {im doing this from my daughters comp}each time i try, i get the message: “cant start the remote access connection manger” i believe maybe some files are corrupted but cant seem to access where to delete it and reinstae it? also cant find BT connection in control panel/ my connections.can anyone help as you are famous for getting me out of trouble. thanks!
